The crowdfunding campaign for short film WOUNDRKIND helped raise €11.629 in one month.
When logistical and legal factors made filming as originally envisaged impossible, we made the decision to produce a different script - what would eventually become the short film VIEWING / LIJKSCHOUWERS. Producing partners Goldman Film and Phanta Film came on board during the crowdfunding campaign and helped secure the remaining funding from The Netherlands Film Fund.
Except for one or two people who got their money back, all donors gave their blessing to the change of plans. Including using part of the crowdfunding to finance the development of feature film STAIRWAY TO EARTH.
I continue to be indebted to all those who joined the WOUNDRKIND crowd back in 2018.
