CROWDFUNDING WOUNDRKIND

A hugely successful campaign and a tremendously fulfilling, inspiring experience. And yet, to this day the short film WOUNDRKIND remains unproduced.

What happened? As logistical and legal factors were making filming impossible as envisaged, a decision was made to produce a different script - what would eventually become the short film VIEWING / LIJKSCHOUWERS. Producing partners Goldman Film and Phanta Film came on board during the crowdfunding campaign and helped secure the remaining funding. Part of the funds raised during this campaign were used to finance the early writing of feature film STAIRWAY TO EARTH.
