In this series of mini podcasts, Finn Szumlas organised public screenings of films for his loved ones; or with the people in mind who fostered his growth as an artist and as a human being. The next morning, he would get up early and compose a handwritten, three page letter to such an individual. In his Cinema Love Letters, Szumlas was eyeing both beloved classics from the canon of film history as well as more recent discoveries, and bringing their sounds and images into contact with his intimate affections and thoughts concerning his friends, family and heroes.
